About
Serving Casa Grande and beyond as a no-kill shelter since 1966.
Our Story
Valley Humane Society was formed in 1966 to provide shelter for homeless dogs and cats in Casa Grande, Arizona. From those humble beginnings, we are proud to have successfully helped tens of thousands of animals across our 60+ year history, in our still humble setting.
While our primary focus is on serving our local community, we help meet the needs of animals throughout Arizona and beyond.
Our Mission
To provide a safe haven for unwanted or abandoned pets, to place animals in loving adoptive homes, and to prevent the overpopulation of dogs and cats through spay and neuter programs.
Our Shelter
Valley Humane Society is located at: 15699 W. Aniceto Road, Casa Grande, AZ 85193. We're open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM.Stop by to meet your next best friend or just say hello to our furry residents.
How we're funded
We are a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We receive no public funding from any government source or any other animal welfare organization, national or local. Our shelter survives entirely on donations, volunteer assistance, and proceeds from our BowWowMeow Thrift Store in Casa Grande, so every dollar makes a real difference.
